2024 THREE PEAKS FALL TEAMS

TEAM INFO

FAQs

  • Elite Teams will play an expanded schedule against elevated competition this Spring/Summer. These are athletes that are committing to more practices and gym time for the season. Elite Teams will compete solely in Hoopsource or NCAA Exposure events across the Northwest.

  • Regional Teams are still comprised of athletes wanting to have a competitive basketball experience. These teams will play a combination of OAB and Hoopsource tournaments in the Salem/Portland area.

  • From the inception of Three Peaks, we have strived to create teams made up of competitive athletes looking to play basketball beyond their traditional winter school team or program. This year we have created Elite Teams for the next level athlete that has a combination of determination and talent and wants to prioritize basketball in their spring/summer schedule.

  • Our coaching staff works diligently during the winter season to evaluate athletes at games and workouts. Our decisions to select players may be based on (but not limited to) the following:

    • Current and past experiences with players (watching players this/past seasons, or a player’s history with the Three Peaks program)

    • Commitment (player has other obligations during the spring/summer that prevent him/her from participating in all practices/tournaments)

    • Coachability (observations or experience with players attitude toward coaches, parents, teammates, opponents, officials)

We recognize that we do not have the capacity to watch every player throughout the area play this season. If you believe your son/daughter should be considered for an Elite Team and has not received an invitation, please email Alyssa at alyssa@threepeaksperformance.com.

  • Yes! We will be holding tryouts in March for all of our Spring Teams. Any Elite Team slots not filled by invitation will be filled with open tryouts.

  • Absolutely! Please sign up for tryouts using the button above.

  • Elite Teams will start at the 7th Grade level - provided we have enough athletes who are willing to take on the time commitment of playing.

  • Elite Teams: 1/2 of payment will be due on the first day of practice, with the second half due midway through the season unless otherwise discussed with Alyssa & Jacki.

Regional Teams: Payment is due (cash, check or electronic invoice) on the first day of practice unless otherwise discussed with Alyssa & Jacki.

Please make all checks out to Three Peaks Performance. At this time, we do not take Venmo.

  • Individual families are in charge of getting their athlete(s) to each tournament. Lodging and food is not included in the team costs. If you're unable, but your athlete is able to travel, please let us know and we can help coordinate with another team member.

  • Elite Teams:

Yes. Jerseys and team travel gear will be included in the team costs.

    Regional Teams:

No. Jerseys are not included in the team costs. They are $87 and include a set of game shorts, reversible jersey and shooting shirt. We use the same jerseys each season so you will only have to purchase one jersey. As your child grows, you have the option to purchase a replacement jersey in larger sizes. For those that played last season and only need a shooting shirt, we have shooting shirt only options as well.

NOTE: Our boys jerseys will be switching from grey to black this season (Nike discontinued grey) so families will notice that switch this Spring.

Three Peaks also has a storefront operated by GearUp that is open year round. Scroll down past the player jersey packs and see options for shirts, shorts, sweatshirts and sweats. We have lots of options for parents as well!

  • We support multisport athletes here at Three Peaks. Please see below for commitment level with our respective Elite and Regional teams.

    Elite Teams:

We ask that athletes who participate on an Elite Team to be fully committed to the team. This includes making all practices and tournaments unless prior arrangements have been made with coaching staff.

    Regional Teams:

We ask that anyone who is trying out for a Three Peaks team be prepared to commit to at least 50% of practices and tournaments. We'd love for multisport athletes to make both practices, even if that means leaving early/coming late. If you can't commit to attending at least half of practices and tournaments, there is an option to be a practice player. Practice players practice with the team and are coached like the other athletes on the team at practices. They do not travel to tournaments unless a position becomes available for a specific weekend and it is agreed upon/communicated with the coach. We encourage all players to tryout (even if they would like to be a practice player) and any conflicts should be communicated with the coaching staff prior to team selections.

  • No. All players will be equally evaluated at tryouts. Each of our teams will carry 8-10 players.

  • Yes! We never want finances to limit the opportunity for a child to play. Please email Alyssa (alyssa@threepeaksperformance.com) to talk about financial options. Do not let finances stand in the way of having your child tryout!

  • We will host clinics and individual instruction throughout the year to provide opportunities for those who do not make a team. To stay connected please hit the subscribe button below to be added to our email list.
